Kumanohana at Moshi is, in the Ministry of the Environment's words, a peninsula seen from a lookout. It was named because its shape resembles a bear's nose, and waves eroded two sea caves to form it. The tourist association says the Early Cretaceous Harachiyama Formation was carved into this shape.
