Mihama Town isthis kind of town.

  1. 01The former Noma Post Office is a Showa 6 (1931) wooden building, one storey with a partial second floor, in Western style: gabled dormer windows stand on the roof on either side of the entrance, and sash windows are set in horizontal-board walls. Registered as a Tangible Cultural Property in 2015, it is described by the Agency for Cultural Affairs as a landmark loved by the area
  2. 02On the grounds of Omidoji Temple (Noma Daibo) stands the grave of Minamoto no Yoshitomo, where many wooden swords are still offered. The grounds are a prefectural historic site, and the bell in the bell tower, inscribed Kencho 2 (1250), is a National Important Cultural Property
  3. 03In Kowa stood the residence of the Mizuno family, who served the Owari domain in the Edo period; the town records that the grounds covered about 5,000 tsubo and were called the Oyashiki. Town-designated properties also include the Onoura ship-shaped float (a sengoku-bune type) and the Ikkoyama sand-quarrying site in Futto, a historic site
