Old Hongan-ji Road marker01 ／ Odaishiyama
On the round hill in front of Kimobetsu Elementary School, called Odaishiyama, 88 stone Buddhist images were set up in 1930. The stone was quarried on land in the town, and many images are reliefs carved on one face, such as Yakushi Nyorai and the thousand-armed Kannon. The town's booklet records 23 Yakushi Nyorai images.
02 ／ Town emblem
In 2016 (Heisei 28), a new town emblem was adopted to mark the 100th anniversary. It evokes a town where the major trunk roads National Routes 230 and 276 cross, and the center of the flower shows the crossing roads and the initial K. The flower is the town tree, the Ezo yamazakura cherry.
03 ／ Asparagus tower
The town's Kimobetsu Dictionary says the three metal asparagus spears at Nakayama Pass were made as the town's symbol, out of pride in being the birthplace of asparagus cultivation. The monument won the Hokkaido Governor's Prize in the FY1996 outdoor advertising contest, public signage category.

There is no railway station in the town. The town says it is about 45 minutes by Donan Bus from Kutchan. In the Donan Bus timetable (revised April 1, 2026), every daily bus from the Kutchan Station stop takes 45 minutes to Kimobetsu. The town belongs to Abuta District.

They vary by time of day.
