Hayakawa Castle Ruins (Shiroyama Park) was designated a prefectural historic site in 2008 as a site that shows what a medieval mountain castle was like. Earthen ramparts, a moat cut, a lookout mound and enclosures remain. Hibachi braziers found there suggest the castle was used from the 14th to 15th century onward, and one theory holds that the Shibuya clan built it.
