Head priests of Oki's chief shrinelive in a house with a sacred room.
The Oki family has served as hereditary priests of Tamawakasu Shrine. Their house is one of Oki's grandest folk residences, with a room for the household altar and a purification room. Its Ekirei bell (medieval) and Oki storehouse seal (Nara period) were both named Important Cultural Properties in 1935.
