The Former Nakano Residence is a two-story wooden house built in 1911 as a villa. A steep slate roof and gables over a complex wall form give it the look of a mountain lodge. Its lighting and fireplace still keep their gas fittings. It was designed by Suzuki Teiji, a professor at Nagoya Higher Technical School.

According to the national description, each of Kamezaki's five groups takes parts out of a storehouse called a saya and assembles its float. Once the festival ends, the wheels are buried in the beach sand so they do not dry out. The city records five saya in the seaside district, with the saya of four groups along Nakamachi Street.
