01 / Tumuli
After a run of round mounds,a 112 m keyhole-shaped tomb was suddenly built.

A group of five tumuli on the right bank of the Uji River, designated a National Historic Site. It began with Kannonyama Tumulus, a round mound 46.5 m across, and round mounds followed, including the north mound of Futagoyama Tumulus. In the early Late Kofun period came Futagozuka Tumulus, a keyhole-shaped tomb with a double moat, the largest of its time in the southern Yamashiro region.
