The Miroku-do of Jison-in Temple is a three-bay-by-three-bay building with a pyramidal roof, an Important Cultural Property since 1965. The Agency for Cultural Affairs describes it as the mausoleum of Kobo Daishi's mother, with an inner sanctuary of the Kamakura period and an outer hall of the Muromachi period. The tahoto pagoda in the grounds is prefecturally designated. One explanation of the name Kudoyama is that Kobo Daishi visited his mother nine times a month.
