In the grounds of the Chiba Prefectural Livestock Research Center in Takidai, a seal of the Yamanobe District office was found by chance at the Takidai site. The city dates it to the Nara period. An Edo-period pasture's horse penis divided into three chambers.

Omago Pasture was one of the seven Sakura pastures run by the shogunate, and the site of its horse pen is a city-designated historic site. A 1992 excavation confirmed a three-chamber structure: one to catch and inspect horses, one to hold those for auction or presentation, and one for mares returned to the pasture.

This ridge-end tile once roofed the Eitakusha, a reclamation company set up around 1876 (Meiji 9) to open the former Omago Pasture. The building had been moved from the Nabeshima domain's Edo residence, and the front of the tile bears the large word "Nabeshima." It is city-designated and kept at Nishu Elementary School.
