The main house of the former Iwasaki family's Suehiro villa is a single-story wooden building from around 1927 (Showa 2), with a courtyard. The city calls the glass shoji on the whole outer perimeter its most distinctive design: evenly spaced vertical bars and horizontal bars at the top and bottom (or the top only) create a square-grid pattern. It is a Registered Tangible Cultural Property.
