01 / Mino-Kaneyama Castle
In the Edo period the site became tomeyama, and it still shows how the castle was demolished.

The castle stands on Mt. Kojo on the left bank of the Kiso River. Stone walls surround the main enclosure at the summit, 276 m above sea level. The castle is said to have been partly demolished in 1601, a step called hajo, and the city says it stayed almost unaltered for about 400 years. It became a National Historic Site in 2013.
