In 1990, marking 20 years as a town, Ina chose the rose as its town flower. The rose garden in Chōsei Shikō Kinen Kōen (町制施行記念公園), a park commemorating Ina's becoming a town, holds 5,000 bushes of 400 varieties on about 1.4 ha, at their best from early May to early June and from late October to mid-November. In 2022 Ina became the only Saitama member of the Bara Seitei Toshi Kaigi (ばら制定都市会議), a league of municipalities with the rose as their flower.

In 1590 Ina Tadatsugu (伊奈忠次) followed Tokugawa Ieyasu to the Kantō, received lands at Komuro and Kōnosu, and set up his headquarters at Komuro. From there he led flood control, new rice-field development and land surveys, laying groundwork for the Edo shogunate. When two villages merged in 1943, the new village was named Ina after him. Earthworks and moats survive at the site, a prefectural Historic Site.

The principal image of Saikō-ji (西光寺) in Kobari-Shinjuku, a seated wooden Amida Buddha, dates from the late Heian period and stands 107 cm tall. Built up from joined blocks of hinoki cypress in the style of the sculptor Jōchō, it is thought to be the work of a Kantō sculptor. It has hardly any missing parts and is a prefectural Tangible Cultural Property.
