01 / Ōhama Beach (大浜海岸)
A shallow sandy beach with no reefsis known as a nesting place.

A shallow sandy beach about 500 m long, with no reefs or other obstacles offshore, long known as a place where loggerhead turtles lay their eggs. Designated a national natural monument in 1967 (Shōwa 42); the designated area includes the sea as well as the sand.
