Shindo Otsukayama Tumulus is thought to be the tomb of a chief who led groups along the Sagami River. The Henkei Shijukyo mirror and other finds from the 1960 survey are City Important Cultural Properties. The triangular-rimmed mirror and other items found in 1935 are held by the Tokyo National Museum. A park nearby has a re-creation of the tumulus.

The site of the Edo-guchi Mitsuke gate is said to have been restored from a photograph that an Italian envoy took home in the early Meiji era. From here to the Kyokata Mitsuke gate, about 1 km of Hiratsuka-juku's streets once stretched. A signboard stands where the post town's only secondary inn (wakihonjin) was.

The Komyoji Kannon-do (main hall) is a prefecturally designated building thought to have been built at the 1498 hall dedication. In the Genroku era a front porch was added and the roof thatched, but the 1983–86 dismantling repair restored its original form.
