The Yukawa takes water from the Kashii River, flows through the grounds of Hine Jinja Shrine and Jigen-in Temple, and empties into Junidaniike Pond. It is thought to have been in use by the time of the 1316 map, and it still waters paddies in Hineno. It is one of the sites of the national Historic Site Hinenosho Ruins.
