Tensodo (天窓洞) at Dogashima is a cave the sea carved out of white rock. Halfway along its 147 metres the roof has fallen in, leaving a round skylight, and light comes in so sightseeing boats can sail right inside. It is designated a natural monument. At low tide Sanshiro Island (三四郎島), off Sehama, is joined to the shore by a stone path about 30 metres wide, and you can walk across (a tombolo). The island keeps a legend of a young warrior hiding from the Taira and a girl named Koyuki who loved him.
