Fuji Safari Park01 ／ Safari
Fuji Safari Park in Suyama has a Safari Zone, where you watch wild animals from your own car or a tour bus, and walk-through areas where you can feed and touch animals. There are also seasonal ways to see the park, such as the Walking Safari and the Night Safari.
02 ／ City of the future
On the site of Toyota Motor East Japan’s former Higashi-Fuji plant, Toyota and Woven by Toyota built Toyota Woven City, a “test course for mobility”. Ground was broken in 2021 and it officially launched on 25 September 2025. Residents have begun to move in, and Phase 1 is expected to house about 300 people.
03 ／ Waterfall
Goryu Falls (五竜の滝) in Central Park are five waterfalls pouring over a lava cliff about 100 m wide and 12 m high. The three on the main stream of the Kise River are the male falls and the two on a tributary the female falls; from the left they are named Yukige, Fujimi, Tsukimi, Choshi and Sagoromo. All five fall over the same single rock, and they are a prefectural natural monument.

Susono and Iwanami stations on the JR Gotemba Line are in the city, and the city hall is a 5-minute walk from Susono Station. Mishima Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen is about 15 minutes by car, and the city hall is about 15 minutes by car from the Susono interchange on the Tomei Expressway.
