About 400 m east of the Ide-dera site, on a slope of the Tama River's right bank, a survey in fiscal 2002 found two kiln sites and an ash dump. From the style of the roof tiles unearthed, it is regarded as a kiln that supplied tiles to Daian-ji Temple in the capital at Heijo, and is identified with the Tanakura Kawaraya, a tile works recorded in Daian-ji's inventory of temple property.

A platform base found in an excavation that began at the end of 2020 has been restored at about 15.3 m east-west and 15.1 m north-south. Stairs stood on the north and west sides. Because the roof tiles unearthed match those of the Ide-dera site, it is judged to be the remains of Ide-dera's pagoda. Ide-dera is said to have been founded by Tachibana no Moroe.
