01 / Awase Chondara

Awase people first performed this blessing artat a celebration in 1906.

It is performed by one drummer, two horse dancers with horse-head shapes at the waist, about ten dancers in jingasa hats, and singers with sanshin. There are five pieces. The Agency for Cultural Affairs records that it was learned from an actor of a Naha play.

02 / Noborikawa Monument

A stone monument records the yearNoborikawa left Ikehara and moved: 1739.

The Noborikawa Monument, a city-designated cultural property, stands near the Noborikawa community hall. It records the year Noborikawa village separated from Ikehara village and moved to its present site, with the house names and names of those involved. The city calls it valuable evidence of the village relocations common from the 18th to the 19th century.

03 / Tomb of Uni-Ufugusuku

The tomb of Kenyu Oshiro, called Uni-Ufugusuku,is an enclosed rock-cave type.

It lies in the hills south of Chibana Gusuku and is a city-designated cultural property. Kenyu Oshiro, large and skilled in martial arts, was popularly called Uni-Ufugusuku and was appointed chief steward of Goeku district. The priestess tomb to the east is of the same type, with an arched entrance.
